There are several options available to you. The first solution is to ask us to check whether your DRIVAO's hardware is compatible with your new vehicle. If it is, you can plug it into your new vehicle without any intervention on our part. The DRIVAO is in fact equipped with a self-calibration capability. Once launched, this function analyses the vehicle's data. It then sets the DRIVAO to the ideal parameters for operation in perfect harmony with the vehicle. So you can give your DRIVAO a second life. The second option is to add value to the DRIVAO when you sell your car. Just like any other option that adds value to the vehicle. Finally, the last option is to resell your DRIVAO on a website specialising in cars or selling between private individuals. When writing your ad, make sure you emphasise the various benefits of DRIVAO (numerous modes that make driving more dynamic in general or smoother in town, fuel savings, anti-theft devices, the option of limiting performance) and how easy it is to install, even for a novice.
DRIVAO can be easily installed in a car, van or motorhome with automatic transmission. When it is first activated, it analyses and integrates the parameters of the vehicle in which it is installed. The ensuing calibration includes adaptation to the type of gearbox fitted to the vehicle: manual, automatic, automated or robotised. This stage enables DRIVAO to produce an action that is relevant, effective and without risk to the mechanics.
DRIVAO is officially approved in accordance with the European EMC directive ECE 2014/30/EU. This recognition validates its electromagnetic compatibility with the vehicle. DRIVAO reduces - or even eliminates, depending on the setting - acceleration lag with the SPORT and EXTREME driving functions. The VALET function, meanwhile, can temper the often overpowering acceleration of these fully electric cars or vans. And because DRIVAO optimises the dosage of these charging phases, it also increases the range of the batteries. Our connected customers also love the SECURE function, which immobilises the vehicle.
The installation of the DRIVAO is very relevant on vehicles with different driving modes. In fact, these modes generally modify gear changes in the case of the auto gearbox and performance contributions, whereas the DRIVAO intervenes more in terms of responsiveness. Not only is DRIVAO perfectly compatible with these different modes, it also amplifies the effectiveness of each of them. It is therefore an ideal complement to the use of Eco, Sport, Comfort or other modes.
The DRIVAO's work in no way alters the technical characteristics that define the vehicle. It does not increase power but optimises its potential. The certificate of conformity therefore remains perfectly correct and valid without modification. This data is used as the basis for insurance policies. The owner or user of a DRIVAO-equipped vehicle therefore does not have to tell his insurer anything. Under no circumstances will they be penalised in the event of a claim. The cover will remain complete without any possible discussion.
The DRIVAO is an item of equipment validated by the automotive sector. It can therefore be installed in any vehicle without risk of loss of warranty. In fact, many of our customers are dealers of most of the makes on the market. These professionals either install our product at the request of buyers or offer it as an option to make the vehicles they sell more attractive.
Not at all. We supply DRIVAO with an ergonomic remote control. It is housed in a bracket that you can install wherever you like in the vehicle. Ideally on the dashboard and within easy reach. This will enable you to use it safely while driving, like the other controls provided by the manufacturer in the vehicle. This remote control communicates via Bluetooth with the box connected to the accelerator pedal. It allows you to use all the DRIVAO functions, just like the application.
Under no circumstances can the DRIVAO cause damage to the mechanical components of your vehicle, whether the gearbox, clutch, engine, axles or other technical components. On the contrary, installing the DRIVAO optimiser allows you to make better use of the technical potential of your car, van or motor home, to make it run more smoothly.
